A Unique Stay with Room for Improvement

We appreciated the spacious room with a comfortable bed and well-stocked mini bar. The staff were friendly, but navigating the hotel was tricky. I'd recommend asking for clearer directions upon check-in to avoid confusion. Breakfast options outside the hotel are plentiful and much better.

I enjoyed a peaceful stay in a well-equipped suite, complemented by prompt room service. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. the room was quite far from the reception, and the bathroom evacuation system was noisy, which affected the overall comfort.

the glasshouse was fantastic! it’s right next to the playhouse, making it super convenient for our show. the room was cozy, with a lovely bed that wrapped us up. we loved the stocked fridge too. the snug bar is a cool spot for a drink, and everyone was so friendly. excellent service from the staff, especially on the main desk.

I highly recommend this place for its fantastic proximity to both Calton Hill just under a kilometer away and the beautiful Princes Street Gardens, making leisurely walks to stunning viewpoints incredibly easy and delightful.

The décor at The Glasshouse is elegant yet welcoming, with accessible pathways and spacious common areas that make it easy for seniors to navigate. The rooftop terrace offers stunning views of Calton Hill, providing a lovely space to relax.

More assistance with luggage would be appreciated.

great stay but minor details need attention

The room overlooking Picardy Place was a highlight of our stay. The hot breakfast cooked to order was impressive, especially when paired with the complimentary Malt in our suite.

A few minor issues needed to be resolved.

Spacious rooms with large, comfortable beds and a well-stocked fridge, enhanced by friendly staff who exceeded expectations. The pleasant snug bar offered a cozy atmosphere for relaxation. some rooms can be noisy, and a shower only can be limiting. Breakfast service felt disorganized despite the abundance of staff.

Had a fantastic stay with friends! We explored the nearby Playhouse and enjoyed the cozy bars in town. The service was stellar, the rooms were big and comfy, and the staff were super helpful. Tip , definitely ask about the local recommendations, they know all the best spots!

Only downside was the parking situation. it was a bit tricky to find. There’s no space to drop off your things right outside.
